Butyrate is formulated from microencapsulated calcium butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid naturally produced in the colon through the fermentation of dietary fiber by the intestinal microbiota. This compound plays a key role in digestive and metabolic health.
The formula uses microencapsulation technology (MicroPEARL™) for improved stability, delayed release and excellent bioavailability, with gastric acid-resistant capsules to ensure optimal absorption in the gut.
Butyrate is also enriched with skullcap and L-threonine for overall support of the intestinal system. The product meets the nutritional needs of intestinal disorders associated with a low-fiber diet.
For a daily intake of 3 vegetarian capsules, the formula provides 600 mg microencapsulated calcium butyrate (including 210 mg butyric acid), 150 mg skullcap extract and 75 mg L-threonine. Recommended use: 1 capsule morning, noon and evening with meals, for at least 1 month.
