Omega 3 complex is formulated with cod liver oil obtained from the liver of wild cod (Gadus morhua L. and other Gadidae species). This oil is a source of essential nutrients, including vitamins A and D, a small amount of vitamin K, and omega-3s including DHA.
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bone structure and the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, while vitamin A helps maintain normal skin. Vitamin A is also indicated as essential for the absorption of vitamin D.
Each 3-capsule dose provides 1500 mg of cod liver oil, including vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E. Recommended use is 1 to 3 capsules a day, with an indicative supplementation period of around two months for 3 capsules a day.
